The Association of Alumni of The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center & School, U.S. Army is a non-profit Association of military and civilian legal professionals who are graduates of courses conducted by The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School, US Army (TJAGLCS). We are organized exclusively for educational purposes and are thus tax exempt pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Association supports the mission of TJAGLCS by providing support for “margin of excellence” activities that help make TJAGLCS the premier legal education institution in the federal government. This includes support for Academic Chair Lectures, notable guest speakers, symposia and special events (such as the Fugh Symposium), student social activities, facility improvements, and awards and recognition. The Association recently broadened its support to The Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the US Army by establishing the Society of Major General George B. Davis – an honorary society recognizing excellence and Principled Legal Practice across the Corps – including both those currently serving, along with legacy members who earned distinction during their military service.
In order to achieve its mission of support to TJAGLCS, the Association seeks to connect all Alumni of the LCS through information sharing, publications, and special projects, such as Regimental Prints. In so doing, we seek to maintain the connection of Alumni to their alma mater such that they continue to support the TJAGLCS mission with time, talent, and treasure.
